With more than $5 billion being invested into Brisbane Airport's future, we're looking for experienced Facilities professionals to join our Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) and play a key role in managing the airport's operational assets and infrastructure.

While titled Facilities Coordinator, this role offers the scope, responsibility and remuneration typically associated with a Facilities Supervisor or Facilities Manager-level position.

The Facilities Coordinator - IOC is responsible for coordinating the maintenance, performance and operational availability of Brisbane Airport's building assets and infrastructure, ensuring all works meet technical, compliance and safety standards while supporting the airport's 24/7 operations.

This role operates on a rotating roster including days, early starts, afternoons, weekends and public holidays.

What you'll do

- Coordinate preventative, reactive and corrective maintenance across airport assets
- Manage contractor performance and service delivery
- Oversee critical building systems including HVAC, electrical, hydraulics, fire and BMS
- Conduct inspections and asset condition assessments
- Support operational decision-making across terminals, airside and landside environments
- Contribute to lifecycle planning, continuous improvement and asset performance initiatives
- Work closely with the Integrated Operations Centre and operational stakeholders to balance safety, customer experience and business continuity.

About you

You'll bring experience managing facilities, contractors and building systems within a complex operational environment such as:

- Airports
- Hospitals
- Universities
- Retail centres
- Commercial property portfolios
- Transport or critical infrastructure environments





Most importantly, you'll be comfortable working well within a team, balancing competing priorities, making decisions, solving problems and proactively building solid stakeholder relationships.
