About the role A live in couple wanted for an established farm and country café in Samford Valley. The roles will include café service, basic food preparation, coffee, customer service, opening and closing, cleaning and other general tasks. Ideally, one of you will have good barista or hospitality experience and the other able to assist in the kitchen.

You should be confident helping the owner to manage the day-to-day running of a small café. Both positions offer approximately 32 paid casual hours per week each and superannuation.

General yard maintenance of mowing and basic animal care is required of the hand raised goats, sheep, calves, chickens and mini donkey. This is a lifestyle role close to the city of Brisbane, train stations and beaches.

Key responsibilities

- Cleaning and general day-to-day tasks around the business
- Five short evening lock-ups each week (approximately 10 minutes)

- Manage the yard maintenance
- Feed and water the friendly farm animals onsite

About you

- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and confident with customers
- Comfortable working independently
- Practical and willing to pitch in
- Experienced in barista coffee, food service or similar work
- Able to work weekends
- Must have appropriate Australian working rights and must be eligible for a Blue Card

About A beautiful 5-acre farm in Samford Valley, approximately 45 minutes from Brisbane CBD. The property includes a country café, poultry business and a range of farm animals. It's a friendly, hands-on agritourism workplace.
