Murdoch Hill Wines is a third-generation family owned mixed agriculture & wine business located at Oakbank in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. We run Angus beef cattle and operate two vineyards, a winery and a cellar door.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced farm hand who loves a hands-on role and working outdoors. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the farm, including maintaining the Angus herd in addition to general farm maintenance. The role also involves operating tractors and vineyard machinery, and completing seasonal vineyard activities.

Key responsibilities

- General farm maintenance and experience in fencing

- Ability to work with cattle

- Operating tractors and vineyard machinery

- Completing seasonal activities including pruning,



spraying and harvesting

- Assisting with harvest operations

About you

- Current drivers licence

- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)

- Ability to perform manual labour

- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Robust time management and communication skills
- A reliable, proactive and disciplined approach to work

- Commitment to ongoing skills and knowledge development

- Availability to work additional hours during vintage
