About the Role

As a Field Service Auto Electrician, you will attend customer sites and breakdowns throughout the Perth metropolitan area, providing professional diagnostic, repair and maintenance services. You'll work across a varied range of equipment, including:

- On Highway Trucking
- Earthmoving machinery
- Civil equipment
- Heavy vehicles
- Light trucks
- Prime movers
- Auto electrical systems
- Vehicle and machinery air-conditioning systems

You will have the opportunity to work independently while also being part of an experienced and supportive team.

Your Responsibilities

- Attend customer breakdowns and provide professional technical service
- Diagnose, repair and maintain auto electrical systems
- Diagnose and service air-conditioning systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and scheduled work
- Work across on-road trucks, earthmoving equipment and heavy machinery
- Complete work efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship
- Provide practical, solutions-focused outcomes for customers
- Maintain clear communication with customers and the Elite team
- Work safely and professionally, both independently and as part of a team

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a tradesperson who doesn't just have the qualifications — you take pride in your work.

You'll be someone who

- Has more than 3 years' post-trade experience as a qualified Auto Electrician
- Has strong experience across auto electrical and air-conditioning systems
- Has worked with earthmoving, civil equipment, light trucks and/or prime movers
- Is confident diagnosing faults and finding practical solutions
- Can work independently in a field service environment




- Has strong communication and organisational skills
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Understands the importance of reliability, punctuality and doing the job properly
- Shares our old-school values of hard work, honesty and quality

Essential Requirements

- Fully qualified Auto Electrician
- Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience
- Experience with both auto electrical and air-conditioning systems
- Experience across earthmoving, civil, light trucks and/or prime movers
- Australian Refrigeration Council accreditation
- Motor Vehicle Repairer's Certificate
- Current unrestricted C-Class driver's licence or higher
- Current National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
