SIRROM is seeking experienced and licensed Security Guards to join our team across our remote Pilbara villages on a 3–6 month contract.
Working a 7/7 roster on night shift only, you’ll be responsible for maintaining village security through gatehouse operations, access control and regular foot patrols.
This role suits experienced security professionals who are confident working independently in a remote workplace and understand the importance of maintaining a professional, visible security presence onsite.

The Role
- 7/7 roster
- Night shift only – 12-hour shifts
- Gatehouse and Village access control
- Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the village
- Monitor and manage personnel, visitor and vehicle access
- Maintain accurate security logs and incident reports
- Respond to incidents and escalate where required
- Maintain a professional security presence and engage with residents, staff, contractors and visitors
- Follow all site security, safety and emergency response procedures
What You’ll Need
- Minimum Certificate II in Security Operations
- Current WA Security Officer Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Previous security experience, ideally within remote, mining or village environments
- Strong communication and incident reporting skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Unrestricted Australian work rights
