An exceptional opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our Executive Team. This unique position offers a comprehensive transition and handover period, with the successful applicant working closely alongside the current Finance Manager as they prepare for retirement.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Directors, the Finance Manager is responsible for leading the organisation's finance function.
You will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of TassieCare Services while managing a dedicated team of employees across payroll and accounting functions.
As a member of the Executive Team, you will work collaboratively with managers and directors to support informed decision-making, organisational growth, and financial sustainability.
You will be required to exercise a considerable degree of independence, sound decision making and judgement.
A structured handover process will allow you to gain a thorough understanding of all finance and payroll functions before gradually assuming full responsibility for the role.
About You
You are a highly capable and hands-on finance professional with strong technical expertise and proven leadership skills.
You have experience contributing as a member of a senior management team, providing informed input and decision-making at both operational and strategic levels.
You are adept at navigating complex organisational environments and have a thorough understanding of working within multiple regulatory, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Your ability to balance strategic objectives with operational requirements enables you to deliver sound financial leadership and effective business outcomes.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant status
Experience
Minimum 4–5 years' experience in a senior finance leadership role.
Experience in working as part of a senior management team and providing advice to company Directors
Demonstrated experience working within complex compliance environments.
Experience with the SCHADS Award is highly desirable.
Experience within the NDIS, disability, community services, health, or not-for-profit sectors is highly desirable.
