We're looking for a Finance Manager who is ambitious, technically sharp, and hungry to achieve growth. Someone who enjoys getting into the detail, takes ownership of the numbers and can turn accurate reporting into useful insights for the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Finance Manager, you’ll lead Bali Body’s day-to-day finance function and report to the CFO. You’ll own the month-end and year-end close process, financial reporting, payroll, tax compliance and cash flow forecasting across our Australian and international operations.

You’ll also manage our AR and AP function, supported by an offshore Finance Coordinator who handles daily processing. This is an exciting hands-on role with the autonomy to improve processes as the business continues to grow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, including the preparation of journals, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports
- Collaborate with stakeholders to craft group budgets and rolling forecasts
- Analyse results against budget and forecast, investigate variances and provide clear commentary to the CFO and leadership team
- Manage AR and AP,



oversee the Finance Coordinator and maintain strong controls over daily transactions and payments
- Prepare and update cash flow forecasts, track actual cash movements and highlight emerging risks
- Coordinate Australian and international tax requirements, including GST, VAT and income tax, working closely with external advisers on returns and lodgements
- Manage payroll and related statutory compliance
- Improve finance processes, reporting and controls as our global operations expand

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- A CA or CPA qualified finance professional with at least five years’ relevant experience
- Robust experience managing month-end close, preparing financial reports and completing balance sheet reconciliations
- A practical understanding of Australian tax and experience coordinating international tax compliance with advisers
- Confidence managing cash flow forecasts, AR and AP, and a direct report
- Advanced Xero skills, strong Excel capability and an eye for detail
- Someone who is comfortable being hands-on, communicates clearly and can balance deadlines across a fast-moving business
- Experience in beauty, FMCG, e-commerce or an international business will be highly regarded
- Experience in omni-channel (retail + DTC) businesses highly regarded
