n Metso are currently seeking an organised, reliable and experienced Finance and Office Administrator to join our team at Warabrook.
n This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organised and providing practical support in a busy business environment.
n You'll be responsible for a combination of bookkeeping, accounts and general administration , helping to keep the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of the business running smoothly.
About the Role n You will be responsible for a combination of bookkeeping, accounts and general office administration duties, helping ensure the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of the business run smoothly.
Key responsibilities will include: n

- Finance Administrationn
- Accounts payable and accounts receivablen
- Bank and credit card reconciliationsn
- Processing and coding transactionsn
- Raising and processing invoicesn
- Following up outstanding accountsn
- Maintaining accurate financial recordsn
- Data entry and record keepingn
- Managing emails and general correspondencen
- Maintaining electronic and manual filing systems and business recordsn
- Assisting with supplier and customer enquiriesn
- Payroll Administration Monitor employee timesheet submission and follow up outstanding or inaccurate timesheets.n
- Assist with payroll administration activities by ensuring timesheet accuracy and completeness prior to processing.n
- Upload and review timesheets into the company pay system, review and submit for approval/processing.n
- Office & Facilities Management Process approved employee travel requests and coordinate travel arrangements.n
- Manage office supplies,
stationery and purchasing requirements to maintain business operations.n
- Coordinate office facilities and maintenance services, including cleaners, waste management and building service providers.n
- Monitor and action enquiries received through shared company email accounts.n
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries appropriately.n
- Manage uniform orders for new startersn
- Systems & Administration Support Maintain accurate information across business systems and administrative databases.n
- Support continuous improvement of administrative processes and office systems.n
- Provide general administrative support to operational and leadership teams as required.n
About You n
- n
- Previous bookkeeping, accounts or administration experiencen
- Experience with Xero accounting softwaren
- Experience with ERP systems an advantagen
- Experience with accounts payable and receivablen
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlookn
- Strong attention to detail and accuracyn
- Excellent organisational and time-management skillsn
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasksn
- Good written and verbal communication skillsn
- The ability to work independently and as part of a teamn
- A high level of discretion when handling confidential informationn
- A proactive attitude and willingness to assist wherever requiredn
- Knowledge of Australian payroll, superannuation, GST and general bookkeeping requirements is required for this role.n
