Financial Accountant | PE-Backed, Global Business

This is a genuine ownership role for someone ready to step away from audit and up into a Financial Accountant seat. You'll be right at the centre of the numbers for a quick-moving, private equity backed business with operations across Australia.

What you'll be doing

You'll take the lead on close and reporting each month, working through balance sheet reconciliations and journals for your part of the ledger.

Statutory reporting sits with you too, both monthly and annual, along with the variance commentary that helps the business understand its own performance.

When audit season rolls around, you're the one auditors come to. You'll coordinate testing, field their questions, and keep the documentation trail clean throughout.

On top of the BAU, you'll stay on top of accounting standard changes and think through what they actually mean for the numbers

What you'll bring

CA or CPA qualified - Big 4 background ideally

5 years in accounting or finance
