About the role The Financial Accountant is responsible for the provision of financial accounting services for the Commission. The role prepares annual financial statements, whole-of-government reporting, statutory reporting and related financial accounting outputs, provides specialised accounting advice, and supports the development and implementation of financial accounting policies in accordance with applicable legislation, Treasurer's Instructions and Australian Accounting Standards.
