Financial Controller | Manufacturing | Sydney

We're currently recruiting a Financial Controller opportunity with an established manufacturing business, with locations in both Northern Beaches & Western Sydney

This is a hands-on role reporting to the CEO, with a strong connection to the wider Group Finance team. You'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while partnering with operational management to improve financial performance, controls and reporting.

What's involved?

- Lead the day-to-day finance function, including month-end close and management reporting.
- Prepare financial analysis, commentary and budget versus actual reporting.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, AP, AR and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory and WIP.
- Identify financial risks, control weaknesses and process improvement opportunities.




- Work closely with the CEO and operations team to support commercial decision-making.
- Provide regular financial reporting and insights to the Group CFO and Corporate Finance team.

About you:

- CA or CPA fully qualified
- Experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager
- Strong financial accounting and management reporting experience.
- Solid understanding of cash flow, working capital and financial controls.
- Advanced Excel skills and robust commercial judgement.
- Manufacturing, industrial or inventory accounting experience is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a hands-on environment.
