Role Description The Fitter is a full-time, on site role based in Hobart, responsible for guiding clients through the fitting process for made-to-measure and ready to wear garments. Day to day tasks include conducting detailed fittings, taking accurate measurements, advising on style, fabric, and fit, and recording fitting specifications for production. The role involves coordinating with tailors and the production team to ensure garments meet client expectations, performing basic adjustments where appropriate, and managing follow up fittings.





The Fitter also supports showroom operations by preparing fitting spaces, maintaining sample garments, and providing a welcoming, professional client experience. This position requires a robust focus on customer service, attention to detail, and an interest in tailoring and fashion.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, build rapport, and provide style and fit guidance in a respectful, inclusive manner.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills for accurately recording measurements, managing client appointments, and coordinating with production teams.
- Comfort working in a showroom or retail environment, including maintaining visual presentation standards and supporting day to day showroom operations.
- Interest in fashion, menswear, and contemporary style. prior experience in tailoring, fashion retail, or made-to-measure clothing isn't required
- Reliable time management, a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, and a professional, client focused attitude.
