As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Fleet Manager to oversee fleet operations, ensure operational efficiency, and support our expanding transport team across New South Wales.

About the Role The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of company vehicles, ensuring fleet efficiency, maintenance, compliance, and operational readiness. The role plays a key part in ensuring transport operations run smoothly while maintaining high safety and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and supervise daily fleet activities to ensure smooth transport operations.
- Oversee servicing, preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and breakdown management for company vehicles and trailers.
- Monitor vehicle compliance requirements, including registrations, permits, insurance, and safety obligations.
- Maintain organized fleet records relating to servicing, repairs, fuel consumption, incidents, and operational performance.




- Work closely with drivers and operational teams to ensure vehicle availability aligns with transport schedules.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical improvements to maximize productivity and reduce downtime.
- Liaise with external mechanics, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely maintenance and cost-effective solutions.
- Assist in fleet planning, including vehicle replacement, procurement, and expansion requirements.
- Ensure transport operations comply with relevant workplace health and safety standards and transport regulations.

Skills & Experience Required

- Qualification in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field will be preferred.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in fleet management, transport, logistics, or a similar role.
- Good understanding of heavy vehicles, servicing schedules, transport compliance, and maintenance requirements.
- Strong organisational, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage day-to-day operations effectively.
- Good communication and leadership skills to coordinate with drivers and operational staff.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work with fleet management or scheduling systems.
- Sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements related to transport operations.
