About the Opportunity Our Hudson Trade Centre Mitre 10 store in Kirrawee, NSW is looking for a reliable and organised
Dispatch/Logistics/Admin Team Member
to join our team and support the day-to-day delivery operations.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll assist with coordinating deliveries, supporting drivers, and helping ensure orders go out accurately and on time. You’ll play an important part in providing a smooth and positive experience for our customers and builders.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday.
What you’ll be doing
Assist with scheduling and confirming delivery orders using our Delivery Management System (DMS)
Support the coordination of delivery runs and communicate with drivers
Keep customers updated on delivery timeframes and any delays
Help resolve basic delivery issues as they arise, escalating where needed
Allocate and organise stock within the warehouse, following safety procedures
Support with purchase orders and general admin tasks for the timber yard
Provide general support to the Store Manager and wider team with daily operations
What you’ll bring
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics/dispatch, or trade workplace (highly regarded but not essential)
A willingness to learn and take direction in a busy environment
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to problem-solve and stay calm under pressure
Basic computer skills (experience with DMS or similar systems is a bonus)
Forklift licence (essential)
