Key Responsibilities

Providecompassionate,high-qualityandperson-centredcaretoresidents

Leadandsupervisecaredeliveryduringdesignatedshiftsorwithinallocatedareas

Supportcareteamsinmeetingtheindividualneeds,preferencesandgoalsofeachresident

Assistwiththecoordinationofclinicalandpersonalcarerequirementsacrosstheresidence

Providesocialandemotionalsupportthatpromotesresidentwellbeinganddignity

Supportmedicationmanagementwithintheauthorisedscopeofpractice

Performmedication-relateddutiesinaccordancewithprofessionalrequirements,legislationandworkplaceprocedures

Assistwithnutritionandhydrationmonitoringandsupport

Participateinpressurecaremanagementandotherongoingclinicalcareactivities





Workcloselywithseniorclinicalstaffandnursingteamstomaintaincontinuityofcare

Provideguidanceandsupporttocarestaffduringshifts

Promoteeffectivecommunicationbetweenresidents,familiesandcareteammembers

Maintainaccuratedocumentationanduserelevantworkplaceinformationsystems

Followworkplacehealthandsafety,infectionpreventionandcontrolrequirements

Requirements & Eligibility

DiplomaofEnrolledNursingorequivalentrecognisedqualification

CurrentAHPRAregistrationasanEndorsedEnrolledNurse

Authorisationtoadministermedicationwithintherelevantprofessionalscope

CurrentNationalPoliceCheck

NDISWorkerScreeningClearanceorwillingnesstoobtaintherequiredclearance

Abilitytoproviderelevantqualifications,registrationandemploymentcredentialsforeligibilityassessment

Excellentverbal,writtenandinterpersonalcommunicationskills
