DWS is seeking a skilled CiscoNetwork Engineerto join us on client site, support and enhance enterprise network environments across office, data center, and cloud platform environments. This role will see you working within a high-performing team, contributing to operational stability, security, and ongoing network improvements in a complex enterprise scale setting. Applicants must have Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship to be considered

Essential skills

n

n
- Cisco certifications (Cisco ICND 2 or equivalent)
n
- F5 Certifications (F5-CA or equivalent)
n
- Experience managing Cisco routing, switching, and network management platforms.
n
- Experience with Cisco Firewall (ASA and FTD)
n
- Experience managing Wireless and WLC technologies
n
- Experience managing F5 load balancing technologies (LTM, GTM and BIG-IQ)
n
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewall technology
n
- Experience with network security technologies, including vulnerability remediation, firewalls, and security hardening
n
- Strongtroubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills in complex enterprise environments
n
- Ability to produce technical implementation plans and operational documentation
n

AnticipatedDeliverables

n

n
- Assess, prioritise, and remediate network infrastructure vulnerabilities in collaboration with Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams
n




- Implement and Maintain network infrastructure security hardening activities
n
- Produce and modify high-quality network implementation plans, technical documentation, and Change Records
n
- Adhere to operational procedures, standards, and support documentation
n
- Provide recommendations for network optimisation and risk reductio.
n
- Commission, test, and validate physical and virtual network infrastructure changes and enhancements
n
- Support incident response, problem management, and root cause analysis activities for network services
n
- Scheduled work at, and travel to and from offices at Martin Place and Bella Vista will be required
n
- Scheduled Out of Hours and Weekend work will be required with compensation via TOIL
n
- Other reasonable Network related activity as directed, including mandatory training / e-learning.
