Due to growth in the company Porta Products, Oberon NSW are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our team. The role is on a full-time permanent basis.

What are we looking for?

n

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at our OberonManufacturing facility.

n

Leading the maintenance team at this large facility, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance operations in order to maximise plant efficiency and reduce machine downtime. This is a hands‐on role, and you will need to build and maintain close working relationships with all production departments and drive your team towards the continuous improvement in performance and processes.

n

Our Oberonmanufacturing facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Maintenance Manager will be required to ensure appropriate support is available at all times for our production operations.

To be considered for this position you will have:

n

Demonstrated experience leading a maintenance team

n





Demonstrated experience working in a complex manufacturing environment

n

Relevant tertiary qualifications in an appropriate engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical)

n

Ability to develop solutions for repetitive failures that adversely affect plant operations.

n

Excellent written, verbal communication and coaching skills

n

The ability to build robust relationships across different departments within the company

n

Please note that previous experience within a MDF or Manufacturing would be highly regarded.

n
