Job Description

Experienced Support Worker position in Disability and Aged Care Support, based in Central Queensland across Rockhampton, Gracemere, Yeppoon, and Emu Park.

Key responsibilities

n

Support and promote the individual needs of customers

n

Develop positive relationships with customers

n

Support customers' individual care plans, including goals

n

Support customers with intellectual disability, high physical support needs and medical/health needs

n

Work on a 24/7 roster across morning, afternoon and active night shifts, including weekend and public holiday shifts

n

Travel between Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Emu Park and Gracemere

n

About you

n

Certificate 3 in aged care, individual support, or allied health

n





Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting individual customer needs

n

Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with customers

n

Experience supporting customers with intellectual disability, high physical support needs and medical/health needs

n

Flexibility to work on a 24/7 roster

n

Current Driver's Licence and comprehensive car insurance

n

Willing to obtain Working With Children Check

n

Willing to obtain NDIS Worker Check

n

Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain

n

Current Police check or willingness to obtain

n

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
