This is a critical role protecting company assets, minimising shrinkage, and driving compliance across a national retail environment. You'll lead investigations into theft, fraud, and policy breaches, while using data-driven insights to support retail teams and strengthen risk management. Combining hands-on training, strategic leadership, and compliance oversight, this role drives operational excellence and delivers measurable results in shrinkage reduction.
n This is a field-based position, with one day a week at Support Office and the remainder spent travelling to stores across Victoria. Travel to SA/TAS occurs periodically, depending on active LP cases.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to Loss Prevention policies and procedures in line with company objectives
n
- Monitor shrinkage trends, identify contributing factors, and implement targeted action plans
n
- Lead investigations into theft, fraud, and policy breaches, with thorough evidence gathering and clear reporting
n
- Conduct regular reviews of store operations, cash handling, and inventory management
n
- Manage CCTV and physical security systems
n
- Train staff on emergency response, workplace safety, and theft prevention
n
- Deliver training programs to build awareness and accountability across retail teams
n




- Collaborate with key stakeholders and local law enforcement to strengthen operational integrity
n
- Partner with the LP team to deliver KPI results
n
- Leverage BI reporting and analytics to detect areas of non-compliance
n
- Promote a culture of responsibility and operational excellence
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in retail loss prevention, risk management, or a comparable leadership role
n
- Proven experience in investigations and data analytics highly desirable, with proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel
n
- Strong problem-solving abilities, high integrity, and keen attention to detail
n
- Experience with security systems including CCTV and EAS technologies highly valued
n
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver training and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to drive results
n
- Skilled in conflict resolution, able to meet deadlines and work independently with sound judgement
n
