Experienced Front of House Staff – Sushi Train Plympton
Sushi Train Plympton is looking for experienced Front of House staff to join our team.
We are a busy, fast-paced restaurant and are looking for people who already have hospitality experience and can confidently step into a FOH role with training on our systems and service style.
We’re especially interested in people who enjoy working with customers, work well as part of a team, and have an interest in Japanese food and culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Front of House / Food & Beverage experience
- Confident customer service and communication skills
- Able to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced restaurant
- Reliable and able to work well as part of a team
- Genuine interest in hospitality and Japanese food culture
- Current RSA highly regarded
- Available for evening and weekend shifts
Significant Availability – November to February
Our busiest period is from November through February, and we are specifically recruiting staff who can work consistently during this time.
Applicants must be available throughout November, December, January and February.
If you already have extended holidays or travel planned during this period, this position may not be suitable.
About the Role
- Casual position
- Mainly evening shifts, usually between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM
- Weekday and weekend shifts available
- Uniform provided
- Training in Sushi Train service standards and systems
- Opportunity to develop further within the restaurant
Pay is in accordance with the Restaurant Industry Award (MA000119) and based on your experience and classification.
We are looking for someone who can become a reliable part of our team, not just for a few weeks.
