Forklift Operator

Source: uWorkin We are seeking experienced large forklift operators to join their copper refinery and bulk materials operations, working with heavy equipment and industrial materials in a hands-on role.

What You'll Do

- Operate large-capacity forklifts around site
- Move copper and bulk materials
- Load, unload and transport materials
- Complete general physical labouring as required
- Support maintenance and waste activities

About The Employer Our client is a leading global resources company with large-scale mining, processing and metals operations across Australia and internationally.

About The Candidate

- Current Forklift Licence (LF) - Essential
- 4T and 16T forklift experience - Highly desirable
- CAT 980 Loader experience - Highly desirable
- Experience handling heavy industrial loads- Highly desirable
- Gantry crane licence - Highly desirable
- RII loader ticket - Highly desirable

Work Environment

- Pay Rate: $47.75/hr
- Lifestyle-friendly rosters (12hour Shifts across a 4/4 Day/Night Roster or across 7 days)
- Contribute to Townsville with a global natural resource company
- Gain valuable heavy industry experience and longevity in the role
