It produces a range of premium print and digital business publications and runs business events and conferences. It also produces custom publications for clients, including annual reports and an inflight magazine for a regional airline.

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Magazine Designer to work across our small suite of print publications on a part time, freelance basis.

The Magazine Designer will be responsible for designing and laying out print and digital publications, working closely with the editorial team to ensure visually appealing and coherent magazine designs. Day-to-day tasks include designing page layouts, selecting and editing photos and graphics (eg tables, maps), designing ad artworks for clients, collaborating with the magazine editors,



and adhering to publication styles and deadlines.

Qualifications/skills

- Demonstrated experience in designing print and digital publications and preparing them for final production
- Excellent knowledge and experience with industry-standard design software (esp. Adobe Creative Suite)
- Photo editing/optimisation
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work to schedules and deadlines, manage workflows and communicate effectively
