Bring your transferable skills to a role that is more than reception. It’s a role where you can make a difference.
Are you an organised, capable and people-focused professional looking for a role where you can take ownership, contribute ideas and make a genuine difference to the experience of patients and families?
At Glow, you'll have the opportunity to become an significant part of a small growing practice rather than simply filling a traditional reception role. You'll take ownership of the front-office and patient journey, contribute ideas, help improve systems and processes, and play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for our patients and families.
This could be a great opportunity for someone with several years of strong customer service, administration, coordination or relationship-management experience who is ready to bring their years of experience into a new environment. You don't need dental or orthodontic experience - we'll teach you that. What we're looking for is someone who learns quickly, thinks proactively and takes pride in doing things well.
Once you've completed your training and can work independently across the required processes, you'll have the opportunity to work from home every Monday and Friday.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include
- Welcoming and building positive relationships with patients and families
- Managing phone calls, emails and patient enquiries
- Managing current-patient enquiries and following up prospective patients
- Coordinating appointments and helping optimise the appointment schedule
- Managing patient communications throughout their journey
- Processing payments and patient accounts
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day administration of the practice
- Learning and confidently using our systems and processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and the patient experience
- Contributing ideas and taking initiative to help the practice continually improve
This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and making things better, rather than simply following a checklist of tasks.
Finer Details:
- Permanent Full-Time | 38 hours per week, with a 30minute lunch break per day
- Monday to Friday
- Monday and Fridays will be work from home once you are fully independent
About you: You have 3+ years experience in a transferable industry such as administration, hotel management or customer service and are keen to bring this to a growing business to make a real difference.
