We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Front & Back of House Staff to join our team at New Shanghai Restaurant And Takeaway in Katherine NT 0850. These are full-time positions where you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth running of our busy restaurant.
Key responsibilities
- Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking food and drink orders and ensuring they are accurately communicated to the kitchen
- Serving customers with their meals and attending to their needs throughout their dining experience
- Clearing and resetting tables in a timely and efficient manner
- Assisting with food preparation and other back-of-house duties as required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the dining area and kitchen
- Following all health, safety and hygiene protocols
About you
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably within a restaurant or similar environment
- Minimum 6-12 months of hospitality experience is required for this position
- Robust interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work as part of a team
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a genuine desire to provide a memorable dining experience for our customers
- Must be available to work rotating shifts across both lunch and dinner services

Salary Range
AUD $67,000 - $72,000 per annum Cook
AUD $68,000 - 75,000 per annum Chef
