VFFS Bagger Operator

Location: Kembla Grange

Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a VFFS Bagger Operator to join our production team. You will be responsible for operating bagging machines, ensuring products are packaged correctly, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Experience with VFFS, HFFS, or other bagging/packaging machines is required.

Key DutiesMachine Operation

- Set up and operate bagging machines.
- Load packaging film and materials.
- Adjust machine settings when needed.
- Perform product changeovers.
- Ensure bags are sealed, labelled, and weighed correctly.

Quality Checks
- Inspect finished products for quality.
- Check bag weight, seal quality, and product appearance.
- Report any defects or issues.
- Complete production records accurately.

Maintenance
- Clean machines and work areas.
- Perform basic machine checks and minor adjustments.
- Report major faults to the maintenance team.

Safety
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Report any hazards, incidents,



or near misses.

Production
- Work towards daily production targets.
- Minimise machine downtime.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members.

Requirements
- Previous experience operating VFFS, HFFS, or other bagging/packaging machines.
- Experience in manufacturing, food production, packaging, or a similar environment.
- Ability to perform machine setups and changeovers.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Positive communication skills.
- Reliable and safety-focused.

Preferred
- Direct VFFS experience.
- Food manufacturing experience.
- Basic troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
