Dragon Hot Pot Box Hill is looking for an experienced and reliable Front of House Manager / Supervisor to join our team.

We are looking for someone who can take real ownership of the floor, support the team during busy service, maintain solid standards and help management keep daily operations running smoothly.

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership position.

You will be expected to lead from the floor, support staff during service, solve problems quickly and help maintain a strong, organised and accountable team.

Your responsibilities may include

- Leading Front of House service
- Managing staff during busy periods
- Allocating duties and sections
- Monitoring customer service standards
- Handling customer complaints and service recovery
- Training and supporting FOH staff
- Monitoring staff performance and providing feedback
- Ensuring opening and closing duties are completed properly
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards
- Supporting roster and staffing requirements
- Helping ensure smooth communication between FOH, kitchen and management
- Handling day-to-day operational issues
- Taking responsibility when senior management is not on site

What we are looking for We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in hospitality leadership
- Confident managing a busy restaurant floor
- Calm and practical under pressure
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong at communicating with staff and customers
- Proactive and able to identify problems before being asked
- Comfortable holding team members accountable




- Organised and able to prioritise during busy service
- Willing to work nights and weekends
- Interested in developing with the business long term

Previous experience as a restaurant manager, assistant manager, supervisor or senior FOH team member is strongly preferred. Experience in a high-volume Asian restaurant environment is an advantage.

Availability

Applicants should have strong availability, particularly:

- Evenings
- Weekends
- Busy service periods
- Closing shifts when required
