Sydney | Flexible part-time contract | Ongoing project work

Creativ Digital is looking for a capable experienced freelance developer to help support and improve modern web, mobile and AI-enabled client products.

This is a flexible, ongoing contractor opportunity for someone who enjoys practical delivery: getting across an existing product, fixing what matters, improving reliability and shipping useful new features.

What you’ll be doing
- Reviewing and taking over existing web and mobile applications
- Fixing bugs, improving performance and supporting live systems
- Building new product features across frontend, backend and mobile
- Improving testing, QA, releases, security and technical documentation
- Working with AI features, LLM APIs and agent-assisted development workflows
- Communicating clearly with product owners and Creativ’s delivery team

What you’ll need




- 5+ years’ commercial software-development experience
- Strong React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript skills
- Experience with React Native and Expo for mobile app development
- Solid Node.js, APIs and PostgreSQL/database experience
- Experience supporting live cloud applications — AWS, Supabase, Cloudflare or similar
- Practical experience with AI development, including Claude, Bedrock, LLM APIs or AI-enabled features
- A practical, reliable approach to debugging, QA and safe releases
- Ability to work independently and explain technical issues in plain English

Nice to have
- Agency, consulting, freelance or fractional technical-lead experience
- GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Stripe, Twilio, Sentry or similar tools
- Experience with SaaS, subscription products, customer portals or mobile apps
