Bookplate is searching for new permanent team members to join the kitchen team for our beautiful cafe located inside the National Library of Australia.

What our ideal recent team member will offer:

- A friendly and relaxed attitude
- The ability to follow processes, working to recipes
- Confidently worked independently in the past
- A minimum 2 years’ experience cooking in a commercial kitchen environment
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- An appreciation of quality food

What the job entails:

- Preparing, seasoning, cooking and plating dishes to our recipes in a timely manner
- Maintaining records of stock levels and placing orders as required
- Supervision and training of kitchen hands as required




- Maintaining a workstation that is clean & hygienic whilst adhering to all relevant food and safety guidelines
