Prime Rehab is seeking a reliable and practical gardener to provide light gardening and general outdoor tidy-up support for a participant living with cerebral palsy in Thornbury.

This is an ongoing casual position, with approximately one visit per month. The role is primarily focused on keeping the garden tidy through light weeding and general maintenance.

About the Role

You will provide light gardening support to help maintain the participant’s outdoor areas and keep the garden neat and manageable.

Typical tasks may include

- Light weeding
- Removing weeds from garden beds and paved areas
- General garden tidy-up
- Removing leaves and other garden debris
- Basic pruning and trimming where appropriate
- Other light gardening tasks as required

Shift details:

- Approximately once per month
- Around 2–3 hours per visit
- Versatile days and times
- Thornbury location

About You

You are

- Reliable, practical and hardworking
- Comfortable working independently
- Experienced with basic gardening and outdoor maintenance




- Able to complete light physical work
- Respectful and considerate when working in someone’s home
- Happy to work on an ongoing monthly basis

Essential Requirements
- Working rights in Australia
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable
- Experience providing gardening services for people with disability or older adults
- Own gardening tools and equipment
