About the Opportunity

n

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Team Leader to join the team working across our Seabrook RAC – Deception Bay. Reporting to the Regional Asset Manager, this role will ensure the condition and appearance of our homes are of the highest standard to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.

n

Hands-on repairs and maintenance

n

Management and co-ordination of maintenance of the building and its environment

n

High level of customer service to residents

n

Maintenance of records and reports

n

Budget management

n

Provide leadership, supervision and co-ordinate site maintenance staff

n

Comply with current legislative standards around maintenance, aged care workplace health & safety and manual handling

n

What do we need from you?

n

Knowledge of maintenance procedure and commercial and domestic construction practice

n

Experience in Contractor Management

n

Knowledge of relevant legislation requirements, codes & standards

n

Understanding and empathy towards aged persons and their living requirements

n

Valid working rights and open manual driver's licence (Class C)

n

Current national police check (or willing to obtain)

n

A pre-employment medical assessment may be required for this role

n

Availability to participate in a shared on-call roster to ensure continuity of service

What do we need from you?

- Experience in Contractor Management

- Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience
n
- Valid working rights and open manual driver's licence (Class C)
n
- Current national police check (or willing to obtain)
n
- Flu Vaccination (recommended)
n
- A pre-employment medical assessment may be required for this role
n
- Availability to participate in a shared on-call roster to ensure continuity of service
