The Facilities & Groundskeeper is responsible for the overall presentation, safety, functionality, and maintenance of our Southern Highlands precinct including infrastructure, landscaped grounds, hospitality venues, event spaces, and visitor amenities. This is a hands‐on role combining groundskeeping with facilities oversight, contractor coordination, maintenance planning, and operational support for a high‐quality visitor experience.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee maintenance of all buildings, sheds, barns, workshops, amenities, and hospitality structures - minor works as required
n
- Prioritise and complete maintenance tasks; coordinate external contractors for specialised work
n
- Cleaning of external drains on paving
n
- Hazard/safety daily checks - Risk Assessment
n
- Maintain lawns, gardens, orchards, landscaped paths, and visitor-facing outdoor areas
n




- Conduct mulching, pruning, irrigation checks
n
- Maintain all aspects of grounds including gates, fencing, and access pathways
n
- Blow down all pathways, driveways and hospitality venues
n
- Maintain driveways, car parks and public facing areas
n

About you

- Skilled with tools, machinery, mowers and general repairs
n
- Robust organisational and scheduling capabilities
n
- Horticulture, irrigation, infrastructure experience are highly advantageous
n
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
n
- Proactive, practical and highly reliable
n
- Takes ownership of property presentation and maintenance
n
- Strong communication skills across diverse teams
n
- Guest-focused mindset with pride in appearance standards
