Job Description Sourcify Pty Ltd Key Responsibilities:

Prepare meat for sale by deboning, trimming, cutting, mincing, and portioning according to specifications and customer requirements.

Produce value-added products such as marinated, seasoned, crumbed meats and smallgoods

Select and prepare meats for sausages and other specialty products

Operate and maintain butchery equipment including grinders, mincers, mixers, tenderisers, and sausage fillers

Prepare and apply marinades, seasonings, curing mixtures, and pickling blends

Manage processes such as smoking, cooking, and curing where required

Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and food safety standards across all products

Provide customers with advice on meat cuts, preparation methods, and cooking suitability

Assist with stock rotation, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and organised work setting Requirements:

Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents encouraged to apply

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience as a Butcher





AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in a relevant field

Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail and production environment

Commitment to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
