About the role: Join Uniting AgeWell as a Part Time Cleaner in Bendigo and play an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Working

Sunday 8:00am to 12:00pm and Monday and Tuesday 7:00am to 3:00pm , you'll be part of a supportive team that takes pride in delivering high-quality services and making a positive difference in the lives of older people every day.





Ensure that all areas of the residence are kept hygienic and presentable

Contribute to a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors

Cleaning in line with all chemical and infection control requirements and accreditation standards

Ensuring resident privacy and dignity is always maintained

Identify and report maintenance issues for our residents, ensuring they are escalated in a timely manner

About you: You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, you also:

Demonstrate a high level of kindness and respect for residents’ property and privacy

Have previous experience cleaning in a large organisation or commercial environment (preferred but not essential)

Have sound knowledge of OH&S; procedures, relevant chemicals and protected work practices (preferred but not essential)

An understanding of infection control procedures

Work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision as required and as part of a team

Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
