Exceed Industries is seeking a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal / Boilermaker / Fabricator / Welder to join our growing team. The successful applicant will be involved in the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of a wide range of sheet metal products, working from engineering drawings and specifications to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Mark out, cut, fold, roll, and fabricate sheet metal components.
- Operate fabrication equipment.
- Perform welding and assembly of fabricated components where required.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets specifications and company standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work setting.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets and deadlines.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Trade qualification in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking, or relevant industry experience.
- 5+ years experience highly regarded.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience operating sheet metal fabrication machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude toward safety.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Desirable
- MIG/TIG welding experience essential.
- Forklift licence.
- Experience in stainless steel mild steel and aluminium fabrication.
