About us NLS is NSW's number-one provider of sports coaches for schools, clubs, OSHC and Councils. We are looking for sports coaches in the Northern Beaches to join our team, we're looking for coaches for Soccer, AFL, Touch, Basketball and European Handball. All of our coaches must have (or be willing to apply for) a current Working with Children check. Coaching experience isn't necessary (although it is preferred) but a valuable knowledge and playing experience of the sport is required.
Schedule We have morning (6.30AM - 9AM), in-school time (9AM - 3PM) and after‑school (3PM - 5PM) positions available. Both midweek and weekend work are available. We are looking for sports coaches to join our team.
Qualifications & Experience
Sports coaching / playing experience
PAID Working with Children (WWC) Check
Child Protection Training (Preferred)
First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred)
Tasks & Responsibilities
Sports Coaching
Attend and conduct alltraining sessions
Attend and facilitate all competition games (As Required)
Being Reliable and Organised
Additional Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of standard coaching practices
Independently handle multiple sporting priorities
Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships & communicate clearly & effectively with students, staff, administrators, and at times parents / guardians
Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential matters with tact and diplomacy, and to maintain confidentiality of information as needed or to protect the rights of individual students
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diversecommunity.
