Our two Sunshine Coast properties, Spicers Clovelly Estate in Montville and Spicers Tamarind Retreat in Maleny, have an exciting prospect for experienced Restaurant All Rounders to join our passionate food and beverage team.

Nestled in the picturesque Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Spicers Clovelly Estate and Spicers Tamarind Retreat are renowned for their distinctive dining experiences, exceptional hospitality, and beautiful natural surroundings.

At The Long Apron, the Chef Hatted restaurant at Spicers Clovelly Estate, guests enjoy sophisticated French-inspired cuisine that showcases culinary creativity, premium local produce, and an outstanding wine experience.

At The Tamarind Restaurant, located within Spicers Tamarind Retreat, guests are immersed in a vibrant dining experience inspired by modern Asian flavours, set amongst lush rainforest surrounds.

The Role and Key Duties

n

Curate an unforgettable and personalised service experience for our guests from start to finish;

n

Forge relationships with guests and locals to promote clientele loyalty & retention;

n

Maximize and identify opportunities to sell products & experiences that suit the needs of our guests;

n

Process payments accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and room charges according to hotel policies.

n





Ensure the restaurant is presented to a high standard at all times, oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas, assist with the setup and service of special events, banquets, and private functions as needed;

n

Provide menu recommendations and explain our food philosophy to our guests;

n

Provide food & beverage recommendations by identifying opportunities to upsell;

n

Attentively maintain an organised section, including multiple tables and service stations.

Criteria Required to be Considered

n

Prior experience in high-volume or a la carte restaurant environment;

n

A genuine love for great food & wine, a talent for customer service and a vibrant, outgoing nature;

n

Ability and willingness to commence work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays;

n

Reliable vehicle to get to and from the retreat;

n

Located close to our restaurant or a willingness to relocate.
