What will you be doing?
As one of the first people our customers meet, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers and providing exceptional service
- Supporting our Optometrists with pre-testing
- Helping customers find frames that suit their style and personality
- Providing advice on lens options and assisting with dispensing
- Building genuine relationships with customers
- Working collaboratively with your team to achieve great outcomes
Every day will be different, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn something new while helping people see better and feel confident in their glasses.
What we’re looking for
You don’t need optical experience — we can teach you the technical side of the role.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A passion for people and a genuine desire to provide great customer service
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- A positive, enthusiastic and friendly attitude
- The ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- A strong team-focused approach
- At least 2 years' retail or customer service experience in any customer-facing role
- Australian working rights
Optical experience is highly regarded, but it’s not essential.
Availability
We are offering a permanent full-time or part-time opportunity.
For part-time applicants, you will need to be available for a minimum of 3 + days per week, with weekend availability.
