Nest Montessori Children's House (based in Everton Hills) is a small, family run, 64 place centre embracing the Montessori approach to education and care. We are seeking an experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team in an Inclusion Support role.

The Role

n

Our Cypress room (3yrs-Kindy) is looking for a warm and patient Inclusion Support Educator to provide additional support to the room and increase our Educator-to-child ratio. This is a consistent 9am-3pm role Monday to Friday, with the possibility to extend these hours upon negotiation.

In this role you will be expected to:

n

- develop solid connections with children
n
- work collaboratively with your fellow Educators
n




- proactively reflect on the environment to best meet the needs of the children
n
- assist in maintaining running records and documentation for a small group of children, with non-contact time provided
n

n

About you

n

n
- Diploma qualified (or working towards obtaining)
n
- Knowledge of child development and positive guidance strategies
n
- A thorough understanding of child safety
n
- Current Working with Children Check
n
- First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one
n
- Understanding of the National Quality Framework, which includes the NQS and the EYLF
n
