This is a hands on leadership role for someone who loves hospitality and thrives in a fast paced setting. You will work closely with the entire team to run service, support staff, oversee bar and beverage operations, and ensure every guest receives the warm, professional experience Sofia is known for. We're seeking a hands on hospitality leader, whether you're an experienced Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, or an ambitious team leader ready to take the next step. Key responsibilities

n

Support the team and owners in daily operations

n

Lead FOH staff during service and maintain high hospitality standards

n

Oversee bar operations, beverage quality, and staff performance

n

Assist with training, onboarding, and team development

n

Manage bookings, phone enquiries, and function coordination

n

Handle customer issues with professionalism and solution focused communication

n

Contribute to smooth service flow, problem solving, and team delegation

n

Uphold the warmth, passion, and consistency of Sofia's hospitality

n

About you

n

Minimum 3 years hospitality experience, restaurant experience strongly preferred

n

Managerial or supervisory experience in hospitality

n

Valid RSA

n

Strong bar and beverage knowledge, including wine service

n

Ability to lead bar staff,



support cocktail development, and maintain beverage standards

n

A leader who works with the team, hands on, supportive, and collaborative

n

Warm, personable, and passionate about Mediterranean style hospitality

n

Calm, professional communication and the ability to defuse situations with poise

n

Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage busy, fast paced weekend services

n

Honest, reliable, and committed to long term growth
