We are a high-volume food production company supplying meals to childcare centres and schools. We are looking for a reliable General Hand to join our Brookvale team in a role that offers a good level of independence, structure and routine.
This position is well suited to someone who enjoys repetitive, hands-on work, likes having clear daily tasks and targets, and is comfortable working independently for most of their shift.
While you will generally work on your own tasks and routine, you will occasionally be required to assist the main packing room team during busy periods. The main packing team works at a faster pace, so flexibility and a willingness to help when needed are important.
Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Friday: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Your Duties
- Prepare ice packs for daily deliveries
- Prepare and organise orders for dispatch
- Move, organise and restock products and materials
- Perform regular lifting of up to 25kg
- Pack food products into boxes accurately and efficiently
- Work in cold room and freezer environments
- Complete repetitive and routine packing tasks
- Work independently and stay focused on daily tasks and productivity targets
- Provide support to the main packing room team when required
- Maintain accuracy, quality and productivity throughout the shift
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed

- Has good attention to detail and accuracy
- Is physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting up to 25 kg
- Is comfortable standing and working for extended periods
- Can work in cold room/freezer environments
- Is able to occasionally step in and support a fast-paced team when required
- Has good communication skills
- Is looking for stable, ongoing work
- Is available long term (6+ months)
