About the Role

Capacity Craft is seeking a commercially minded General Manager – Growth & Development to help identify, develop and launch new areas of business.

Working directly with the Director, your primary responsibility will be to answer one question:

Where can Capacity Craft grow next, and how do we turn that opportunity into a sustainable business?

This role is suited to someone who enjoys building businesses, developing partnerships and taking ideas from concept through to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

You will

- Identify new services, markets and revenue opportunities.
- Research opportunities across housing, NDIS, aged care, community services and related industries.
- Develop business cases and assess the commercial viability of new ideas.
- Build relationships with government agencies, health services, community organisations and private providers.
- Develop referral networks and strategic partnerships.
- Identify opportunities to increase client referrals and revenue.
- Assist with tenders, proposals and partnership opportunities.
- Develop plans for launching new services or business divisions.
- Help establish the systems, staffing and processes required for recent ventures.
- Monitor the performance of new services once launched.
- Identify opportunities for expansion into new locations and markets.
- Work with the Director to turn business ideas into practical projects.

About You

We are looking for someone who is commercial, proactive and comfortable taking ownership.

You may have previously worked as a:

- General Manager
- Business Development Manager
- Commercial Manager
- Operations Manager
- Business Manager
- Strategy or Growth Manager

The ideal candidate will have:




- Experience growing a business, service or organisation.
- Strong commercial judgement.
- Experience developing partnerships and new revenue opportunities.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Confidence dealing with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to take an idea and develop an implementation plan.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A practical, entrepreneurial mindset.

Experience within housing, NDIS, aged care, healthcare or community services would be highly regarded but is not essential.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $99,000.00 per year

Education

- Bachelor Degree (Preferred)

Experience:
- Project management: 5 years (Preferred)
