SUPERVISOR/MANAGER

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Organise and control the day-to-day operations of the accommodation business, including rooms, front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, kitchen and guest-service functions.
- Coordinate the activities of the Rooms/Guest Experience, Food and Beverage and Kitchen teams to ensure consistent service across the property.
- Plan staffing requirements, approve rosters and supervise senior operational staff, including departmental managers and supervisors.
- Monitor room occupancy, guest arrivals and departures, service demand and operational performance and adjust resources to meet peak and year-round requirements.
- Establish and monitor guest-service standards and respond to significant complaints, service failures and operational incidents.
- Oversee budgets, purchasing, stock controls, operating expenditure and routine revenue and performance reporting.
- Coordinate property presentation, security, maintenance and contractor requirements and ensure faults and safety issues are addressed promptly.




- Ensure compliance with applicable accommodation, food-safety, liquor licensing, responsible service, workplace health and safety and other regulatory requirements.
- Recruit, induct, train and performance-manage staff in conjunction with departmental managers and supervisors.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to support efficient delivery of accommodation, food and beverage, in-room dining and guest amenities.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications: Relevant diploma or higher qualification in hospitality or hotel management

Experience: Substantial hotel or accommodation management experience involving responsibility for multiple operational departments.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
