Practice: Waikerie Medical Centre

Waikerie Medical Centre are looking for an experienced General Practitioner for an immediate start. This position is a full time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Waikerie, South Australia.

Centre is a dedicated Medical Centre and provide a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week service. Emergency and inpatient work is performed at Waikerie Hospital & Health Service (approximately 50 metres from the surgery). Minor surgery, anaesthetics and emergency work is provided by the Practice, along with routine general practice consulting.

The Practice has fully equipped facilities with pathology collection centre onsite and is supported by an experienced and dedicated team of GP’s, visiting specialists, nurse practitioner, nursing staff, Practice Manager and administration.

Hours: Practice: Monday to Friday 08.30am – 5.30pm Hospital:



Shared On Call emergency services roster

Qualifications/experience: Specialist or General Registration with AHPRA Vocational Registration (or working towards Vocational Registration) MBBS or equivalent Recent General Practice experience Recent Emergency experience

Package/Salary: The Practice offers flexible arrangements; The expectation of earning is in the vicinity of $200,000 - $220,000 (gross) + 12.5% Superannuation

Location: Waikerie is situation on the banks of the beautiful Murray River, a mere 175kms from Adelaide. It is the first Riverland town on the Sturt Highway (Adelaide to Sydney) and has a population of about 5,000
