Fayman International Group is an international food trading business specialising in the sourcing, marketing and distribution of meat and protein products across global markets. Based in Preston, Victoria, we work with suppliers and customers across Australia and international markets to facilitate trade and develop long-term commercial opportunities. We are seeking an experienced Global Trader to join our team and to support our growing international trading operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in international trade, market and commercial analysis, information management, supplier and customer relationship management, and the identification and development of business opportunities in global market.

This is a full time position (38 hours per week), offering an opportunity to play a key role in the analysis, organisation and management of commercial information and the development and execution of international trading activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze market, supplier and customer information to support business planning and decision-making in international trading activities.
- Monitor international pricing, supply, demand and market trends to identify commercial opportunities, support business decisions, and prepare market updates for management.
- Conduct market research and evaluate prospective customers and suppliers to identify new international business opportunities.
- Prepare reports, forecasts and commercial analyses to support strategic and operational planning.

Maintain accurate records and databases relating to products, suppliers, customers and market activities.

Assess industry developments, trade requirements and regulatory changes and report on their potential business impact.

- Review and evaluate supplier, customer and market data to identify areas for business improvement and growth.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities,



product availability and market requirements and provide recommendations regarding suitable meat and protein sourcing options.
- Support commercial negotiations with suppliers and customers by preparing and analysing pricing, product, quantity and trading information.
- Prepare and evaluate quotations, product offers, costings and other commercial information relating to international transactions.
- Prepare business documentation, presentations and briefing materials to support commercial and organisational activities.
- Monitor market conditions, product availability, pricing movements and relevant import and export requirements across target markets.
- Support management by providing recommendations based on market intelligence, business data and operational information.
- Liaise with suppliers, internal and external stakeholders to collect, verify and communicate relevant business information and support the effective execution of international trading activities.
- Assist in developing and improving business processes, reporting practices and information management systems.

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in the last 5 years
- Minimum comparable Bachelor or higher degree AQF level in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or other relevant Information Management disciplines (at least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification)
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and information-management skills, with an understanding of international trade and commercial business practices

Salary and Benefits The position offers a salary of $100,000 per annum plus superannuation. We are committed to providing a supportive and professional working environment, with opportunities for growth and development within the organisation.
