We are seeking Reliable, Enthusiastic, Motivated and Professional in the Brisbane Northside area.

As s Disability Support Worker, you will play an important part in assisting people to achieve their goals as specified in their NDIS plan.

As a Disability Support Worker and respected ambassador of McArthur you will be required to assist people with:

Household tasks - household cleaning and laundry

Skill development - shopping, cooking, catching public transport

Transport - transport to appointments and/or shopping

Social & Community participation - engage in the community, meet people.

Applicants will require:

Relevant Industry experience

Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability Cert IV or equivalent

Current Working with children blue card and NDIS workers screening check

Current First Aid & CPR Certificates

Current Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain

Medication Certificates/experience will be looked at favourably

Valid Driver's License

Training credentials in Complex Care, for example - Bowel Care, Peg Feeding, Dementia and Mental Health would be highly regarded.
