We are seeking a skilled and passionate Gardener to join our team at Grace Gardens Horticultural Services' in Brisbane. This is a casual position, allowing you to maintain a flexible work schedule. As a Gardener, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the beautiful gardens and landscapes we manage throughout the local area.

What you'll be doing
n
n
- Performing regular garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning
n
- Planting and caring for a variety of ornamental plants, trees, and shrubs
n
- Applying mulch, fertilisers, and other soil amendments to promote plant health
n
- Identifying and addressing plant health issues
n
- Ensuring gardens and landscapes are kept clean, tidy, and presentable
n
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients
n
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
n
- Travelling between client sites throughout the local area with a current provisional or full driver's licence
n
- Must hold either a current provisional or full driver's licence for travelling between client sites
n

What we're looking for
n
n
- Minimum of 3+ years of gardening or horticultural experience is required
n
- Strong knowledge of garden maintenance practices, plant care, and landscaping techniques
n
- Ability to operate a variety of gardening equipment and tools safely and efficiently
n
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
n
- Ability to perform very heavy lifting tasks of 25kg or more as required for manual labour duties
n
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
n
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
- Relevant qualifications in horticulture or a related field would be highly regarded
n
- Formal horticulture qualifications are required at the time of application
n
