This is a full-time, permanent position with a Monday to Friday schedule, based in Acacia Ridge. This hands-on training role is designed for individuals seeking a long-term career in transport and logistics. As a Fleet Controller Trainee, you will work alongside experienced professionals, learning how to manage fleet operations, coordinate drivers, and efficiently allocate jobs.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with job allocation and fleet coordination.

- Supporting drivers and clients with their inquiries.
n
- Learning to strategically allocate work to maximise efficiency.
n
- Collaborating closely with the operations and allocation teams.
n
- Assisting with general depot operations and freight management.
n
- Handling basic administrative tasks to support the team.

About you

- Possess strong communication skills and attention to detail.
n
- Have full working rights in Australia (Citizen or Permanent Resident).
n
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop in a dynamic environment.

- Have good knowledge of the Brisbane area (or a willingness to learn).
n
- Are reliable, have their own transport, and possess a strong work ethic.

- Have basic computer literacy (training will be provided).
n
- Exhibit a proactive and team-focused mindset.
