About the role:

n

An exciting prospect exists for an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will undertake a broad range of carpentry duties across residential and commercial projects, working closely with site supervisors and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

n

- Construct, install and repair timber structures, frameworks, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows and cabinetry.

- Read and interpret construction drawings,



specifications and building plans to accurately complete carpentry works.
n
- Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials using both hand and power tools.
n
- Install formwork, framing, cladding, flooring, skirting, architraves, doors, windows and other structural and finishing components.
n
- Carry out maintenance, repair and renovation work on existing buildings and structures.
n
- Ensure all work complies with Australian building standards, workplace health and safety requirements and company quality standards.
n
- Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors and other trades to ensure projects are completed within required timeframes.

Qualifications and Experience:

n

n
- Relevant qualifications required. Adequate experience may be acceptable in lieu of formal qualifications.
n
- Minimum 1 year of proven work experience
n
- Ability to interpret technical drawing and construction specification
n
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, building materials, and Australian construction practices
n
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
