Automotive Technician / Accessory Fitter - American Trucks & 4WD

You'll be involved in all aspects of vehicle builds for premium American trucks and vehicles, working on Chevrolet Silverado, RAM, Ford F-Series and other high-end custom projects. You'll work alongside an experienced team in a dedicated workshop with the equipment and resources required to do the job properly.

Key responsibilities

- Suspension and lift kit installation
n
- Wheels, tyres and vehicle setup
n
- Bullbars, side steps and exterior accessories
n
- Driving lights and 12V accessories
n
- Towing and touring upgradesUnderbody protection and off-road equipment
n
- General mechanical work
n
- Diagnostics and fault finding
n
- Pre-delivery inspections and quality control
n
n
About you
n
n
- Current Australian Automotive Technician / Light Vehicle Mechanic qualification or similar
n
- Robust mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability
n
- Experience fitting aftermarket accessories and suspension
n
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- LR or higher truck licence (highly regarded)
n
- Experience working on American trucks (highly regarded)
n
- 4WD or aftermarket accessory fitting experience (highly regarded)
n
- Suspension and wheel alignment experience (highly regarded)
n
