The Logan & Albert Hotel is a beautiful country pub with a 4.6‐star Google rating, and we're looking for an experienced Chef & Cook to join our kitchen team.

n

You'll work in a modern, well‐equipped kitchen alongside a passionate team that takes pride in serving consistently delicious food. We work hard, support one another and still enjoy a laugh along the way!

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Preparing, cooking and presenting quality pub meals
n
- Working across the larder, pans and preparation sections
n
- Setting up your section and making sure it's ready before service
n
- Keeping up with orders during busy lunch and dinner services
n
- Following recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards
n
- Making sure meals are consistent and leave the kitchen on time
n
- Checking food quality, freshness and stock levels
n
- Rotating and storing stock correctly to reduce waste




n
- Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning requirements
n
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised
n
- Helping with deliveries, stocktakes and kitchen preparation when needed
n
- Communicating clearly with the kitchen and front‐of‐house teams
n
- Supporting junior team members and lending a hand where needed
n
- Helping create a calm, friendly and respectful kitchen environment
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- At least two years' experience in a similar kitchen role
n
- Experience working with larder, pans and food preparation
n
- The ability to work confidently during busy services
n
- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
n
- A solid work ethic and a calm, reliable approach
n
- Someone who turns up on time and works well as part of a team.
